Terms of Service

1. The service

DigiStocked provides digital tools for managing livestock and farm records. Features may change as the service develops. The app supports record keeping and workflows; it does not replace professional veterinary, financial, legal or farm-management advice.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and be authorized to create or administer the farm account you use. Farm owners and administrators are responsible for inviting workers, selecting permissions, and removing access when it is no longer needed.

3. Farm information

You retain responsibility for the information entered into DigiStocked and for keeping any records you need outside the service. You must have the right to enter and use that information. Check critical animal-identification, stocktake, financial and operational records before relying on them to make a decision.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Subscription prices and available payment options are shown in DigiStocked when you sign in. The public website currently displays R60 per month or R600 per year as indicative South African prices. The plan, final amount, billing interval, applicable taxes, renewal date, cancellation method and refund terms presented at checkout will govern your subscription. Subscription billing is handled by a payment provider.

Cancel future renewal using the method shown in your account or payment-provider receipt. Unless checkout states otherwise or applicable law requires it, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, upload harmful code, or use DigiStocked in a way that violates law or another person’s rights. We may restrict access when needed to protect users, farm data or the service.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep DigiStocked available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, network conditions, device limitations or events outside our control may affect access. We may update or discontinue features and will provide notice where reasonably possible.

7. Intellectual property

DigiStocked’s name, branding, website content, original software and designs are owned by JB Prinsloo or used under licence, and are protected by copyright laws, including South Africa’s Copyright Act 98 of 1978, as amended. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your farm or organization while your account is active. You may not copy, adapt, distribute, resell or reverse engineer those materials except where permitted by law.

8. Third-party services

Some features depend on third-party services such as sign-in, hosting, payment processing, maps or optional notifications. Their own terms may apply. DigiStocked is not responsible for a third party’s separate service or availability.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, DigiStocked is provided without a guarantee that it will meet every farm’s needs or be free from errors. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of records that have not been checked for accuracy.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using DigiStocked and cancel your subscription through the available account or billing controls. We may suspend or close accounts for serious breach, non-payment, security concerns or legal requirements, with notice where reasonably possible. Data handling after account closure is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as DigiStocked changes. We will update the effective date above and provide any notice required by law. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms, where permitted by law.

12. Contact and governing law

These Terms are provided by JB Prinsloo. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of South Africa have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or forum protections that apply to you. For questions, email support@digistocked.com.
